Frequently Asked Questions

This page covers some the questions that I am often asked.

How many foods can I stop?

In one session you can usually stop two foods.

Can I just stop some foods sometimes?

Yes, if you have a food which you don't want to cut out completely, but only want to cut out in certain situations (ie when in a food hall for example) a selective change can be done.

If you purchase the DIY approach, this is covered on the DVD as well.

Can this help me stop drinking alcohol or stop smoking?

No it cannot.

Alcohol:  This is way beyond the parameters of this service as there are many elements or aspects which need to be addressed when someone is having drinking issues.

Smoking:  This programme will not assist someone to stop smoking.  If you are wanting to stop smoking, I have a different dedicated service which specializes in helping you quit cigarettes.  For more details, please visit www.dragonflytransformations.com.au/quit.html.

Will this help me lose weight?

This is not a weight loss programme.

If a specific food you are eating does contribute to your weight problem, and that is one of the foods you have chosen to not eat any longer, then weight loss may occur as a result of your not eating that food any more.  It really depends on what those foods are, your metabolism, what else you are doing etc.

Will this always work?

I have successfully treated many clients with this process.

However there are several factors which need to be taken into consideration:

* Are you doing this for yourself (as opposed to some unattainable ideal)

* Do you really not want to eat this food anymore ... ever!

* Are you being pressured by someone else

* Is there an underlying physical, emotional or biological issue as to why your body is craving that specific food ... ie if you are depleted in Vitamin C, perhaps your desire to stop eating oranges is at odds.  If there is a deeper underlying issue why you body desperately needs that specific food, your unconscious mind may prevent you from doing something it perceives as self harm (ie stopping that food).

Can I add foods ... foods I don't presently like but wish I did?

Yes this process can be used to add foods to your diet.  At this stage the DIY version does not cover this particular request, so you will need to organize a face to face appointment.

Do you have any age minimums?

Yes I do not recommend this approach for people under the age of 18.
